About Rob Krauss
Rob Krauss is Principal of Building Edge Strategies, where he advises project sponsors, businesses, and non-profits on navigating government decisions that affect approvals, funding, infrastructure, and major project delivery.
He brings more than 15 years of experience at the intersection of government, real estate development, infrastructure, and economic policy.
Rob has held senior roles across municipal and provincial governments, including Advisor to the Premier, Minister’s Chief of Staff, Vice President of Development at Infrastructure Ontario, and Advisor to the Mayor of Toronto. This experience gives him direct insight into how high-stakes approvals, funding decisions, and complex government processes move.
He has advanced major development and infrastructure initiatives across Ontario, including transit-oriented communities, transit expansion, and private-sector projects requiring coordinated government action.
Rob leads each mandate personally and works with a trusted network of senior advisors and subject-matter experts when additional depth is required, ensuring focused senior-level execution without unnecessary layers.
He works directly with executive teams to structure pathways, align decision-makers, and execute toward defined milestones that unlock progress.
